Supporting EFSA in the production of Avian influenza reports in wild birds and poultry and the creation of an avian influenza dashboard

Avian influenza is a highly contagious viral disease occurring primarily in poultry and wild water birds. Surveillance and monitoring are carried out in Europe in all birds for early detection of the highly pathogenic avian influenza viruses and to improve knowledge about the potential zoonotic risk posed by avian influenza.

In this context, Ausvet Europe has been supporting  EFSA, the European Food Safety Agency, in data management and analysis, in the production of the annual and quarterly avian surveillance reports, and in the creation and maintenance of the avian influenza outbreak dashboard.

All reports are publicly available on EFSA’s website.
