Kate is an FCPA (Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant) with qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, Information Technology and professional registration in Human Resources. Kate brings over 20 years experience in business and financial management to Ausvet. Her career includes Chief Financial Officer and Senior Management roles in Commercial and Not for Profit organisations. Kate was also a Master Tradesperson and was awarded Tradesperson of the Year, an Outstanding Achievement Award from the Victorian Awards of Excellence, was semi finalist for Businesswoman of the Year and held a scholarship at the Australian Institute of Sport.

Kate’s primary goal is to ensure that the corporate and financial functions support the strategic direction of the business. With extensive corporate experience and consistent success in strategic and operational management, Kate is passionate about delivering high organisational value.

Kate values being part of a high functioning team, working for an organisation that contributes positively to the community, contributing to a healthy workplace and keeping a healthy balance sheet.

In her spare time Kate likes to find balance by practicing Yoga and Qigong.
