Based in Pakistan, Sheraz is the “Air Traffic Controller” of our digital infrastructure. With a Bachelor’s in Telecommunications, he possesses a deep-rooted understanding of how complex systems talk to one another, a skill he uses daily to ensure our global veterinary consultancy remains online, synchronised, and secure.

The Pipeline Pilot

Sheraz is the architect of our “flow.” He is responsible for the critical journey of our code as it travels from the developer’s keyboard to the testing environment and, finally, into production. In a field as fast-moving as epidemiology, Sheraz ensures our systems evolve without a hitch:

Deployment Orchestration: He manages the production pipelines, ensuring that new features and critical updates move seamlessly through the “lifecycle” with zero downtime.

System Stability: As our DevOps lead, Sheraz is the guardian of our uptime, monitoring the pulse of our servers and keeping our digital ecosystem healthy.

Connectivity & Infrastructure: Drawing on his telecommunications background, he optimizes the ways our global team interacts with our data, ensuring information flows as freely as a herd on the move.

High Altitudes and Local Heroes

When he isn’t managing the “cloud” in a technical sense, Sheraz is often literally inside one. An avid mountain climber, he thrives on the physical and mental challenge of an ascent, a pursuit that perfectly mirrors the high-stakes, problem-solving nature of DevOps. His love for exploration doesn’t stop at the summit; Sheraz is a passionate international traveler, always looking for the next horizon to cross.

When it’s time to wind down, Sheraz is a connoisseur of Science Fiction and Thriller movies, likely picking up a few tips on future-proofing our systems from the sci-fi greats.

While he doesn’t have any pets of his own, Sheraz has been “de facto” adopted by the local feline population. He serves as the unofficial guardian of the stray cats in his neighborhood, ensuring they are attended to and fed. It seems whether it’s a server cluster or a local cat colony, Sheraz has a natural instinct for keeping systems, and creatures, cared for and thriving.
